2:00 PM: JACK OF HEARTS BAND — The Music of Bob Dylan
The Jack of Hearts Band replicates the sound of Bob Dylan — from the early 60's folk scene to the radical electric conversion culminating in Blonde on Blonde, the Woodstock retreat, and through the 70's to masterpieces such as Blood on the Tracks, the Rolling Thunder Revue and beyond. Dylan's frequent collaboration with The Band has led The Jack of Hearts to include a tribute to the legendary Americana group.
4:00 PM: PRETENDING — A Pretenders Tribute Band
The face and voice of Pretending Karen Alvarez in the role of Chrissie, replicates the sound of the band's hits from the late 70s to the mid-90s. The musicianship is top-tier with true-to-original guitar riffs by lead guitarist Rob McCullough and a steady rhythm section comprised of Brad Torres on drums and Adam Alvarez on bass.
6:00 PM: BROKEN ARROW — The Music of Neil Young
Broken Arrow features both the rockin' electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material by Neil Young. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements. Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. These guys always have audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show.
