The inspiration for Cover Rock was simply to create a festival of the greatest music of all time in a beautiful setting, a relaxed atmosphere and a hassle free experience with small manageable crowds. Once we found the Avon facility offering numerous convenient hotels within walking distance of this glorious stage, we knew we had our festival.

 

Our first year was an attempt to recreate the spirit and joy of the Summer of 1969. Many of the cover bands we hosted had appeared at major festivals of the era like Woodstock, Altamonte and others.  The thrill of recreating these moments was more magnificent than we had anticipated and due to tremendous response we decided to continue the dream with our second annual Cover Rock-The British Invasion.  We bring the best tribute/cover bands in the world to a single stage allowing music fans to enjoy the songs of the musical legends from The Beatles and Rolling Stones to second wave Brits like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin at a fraction of the cost.

 

We want your experience to be trouble free. We are experienced festival goers ourselves and have learned what works and what doesn’t. We promise plenty of bathrooms and easy access to festival grounds whether you walk from your hotel or the numerous condos available for rent. If you do chose to drive, you’ll find plenty of close FREE parking. The nearby resort towns of the Vail Valley also offer tremendous public transportation that drops off feet from our entrance.

 

In addition we wish for you to enjoy the World Famous Vail Valley and all it has to offer.
